[Channels and Content](https://knowledge.contentmx.com/getting-started?hsLang=en#channels-and-content) # What is a Build Your List item? ## Share gated assets with your leads, and understand your Lead Scores Many of your content campaigns include assets called **Build Your List items.** Build Your List items are gated content pieces like ebooks and white papers designed to nurture your Leads. In your dashboard, you will find them marked with a purple banner reading "Gated Content". Make sure that your marketing and sales teams have a plan to follow up with these highly interested Leads!   **Here are some examples** of Build Your List items that are available in your content channels: ![Screenshot 2023-06-16 at 10.36.01 AM](https://knowledge.contentmx.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202023-06-16%20at%2010.36.01%20AM.png?width=479&height=211&name=Screenshot%202023-06-16%20at%2010.36.01%20AM.png)   You'll also see Build Your List items that prompt your Leads to **subscribe to your mailing list** and continue receiving updates from your company.
