There are two methods for connecting your account to WordPress. The method you use depends on the type of permissions and security settings surrounding your WordPress login. XMLRPC is one common method for connecting to WordPress. In this scenario, you access WordPress in a similar manner to signing in as a user. A user is created in WordPress for this purpose or you use the credentials of an existing user. However, the problem with this method is that there are often security measures applied to WordPress (using security plugins or server protections) that can prevent our servers from accessing WordPress via the XMLRPC protocol. To get around this, you can install the [ContentMX WordPress plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/contentmx-content-publisher/) to your WordPress account.  #### **How to enable the plugin on WordPress** To connect your WordPress account, you will need the URL of your website or blog. You will also need to go into your WordPress account and enable our “ContentMX Plugin” for use. The following steps will walk you through how to enable the plugin on your WordPress account and make the connection within the platform. **Step 1:** To begin the process, you will want to log into your WordPress account via the WordPress website.  **Step 2:** Once you are logged into WordPress, on the left sidebar, scroll down to “Plugins”. This will ensure that you are always receiving the latest update and will allow your current connection to remain successfully enabled. You can do this by clicking “Enable auto-updates” on the right side of the active plugin. This can be found in the top right corner of the navigation bar.
