Use Content Reports and Lead Activity reports to see the leads being generated from gated content and email campaigns
In the Content Reports and Lead Reports section of the Reports menu you will find several reports for tracking your Leads:
What are my Lead Scores?
The Lead Scores Summary report provides a chart that lets you see how leads are being scored. Leads are given a point score based on their level of engagement with your content. Click on a bar to view the contacts with that same lead score.
Score | What it means |
1 | This contact has opened an email |
2 | This contact has clicked on at least one prior email |
3 | This contact has clicked on two or more prior emails |
4 | This contact has requested more information by filling out one of the forms on your Gated ("Build Your List") Content. |
Which Gated Content has been collecting leads?
Select Reports > Activity on Gated Content to open the Gated Content Report. This report shows the Gated ("Build Your List") Content that you have published that has also collected one or more leads.
Note: You can hide published items that have not collected any leads by clicking the "Modify Report" button checking on the box titled "Hide Items with 0 Leads".
Who are the leads that have been collected?
Click the blue "Show Leads" button on the Gated Content Report to display the list of leads associated with this content in the Activity by Lead report. You can view and sort these contacts, export them to a CSV file, or assign them to a special Email Network for follow-up.
How can I assign these contacts to a list for future follow-up?
Click the "Assign to List..." button to select an Email List. Choose a list from the drop-down menu and then click the "Assign" button to assign the selected Leads to this list.
You can then use this Email List when sending future email campaigns or export these contacts later when you are ready to work with them.
You can quickly add a new named Email List in which to put these Leads by clicking the "Create New List" button. Enter the name to use for this list and then click the "Quick Create" button.
How can I see what actions a Lead has taken in the past?
Click the small globe icon to the right of a contact in the Activity by Lead Report to see a list of prior items that this contact has requested.
How can I see a list of all Leads that have requested Gated Content?
Select Reports > Lead Score Summary to see the Lead Score Summary Report. This report will display a graph chart of all the collected Leads. Then, click on each bar in the graph to view the Leads with that specific Lead Level Score. To view Leads who have requested Gated Content, click on the Level 4 bar graph (Captured Through a Form). You can view, sort, and export these contacts to a CSV file.
